God’s works are great. All His activity, His intent, His action is great. Everything that is orchestrated and accomplished by God is great. The greatness of His works does not refer to number, but rather dimension. In other words, God’s works are huge, extraordinary, and significant in dimension and in scope. When we begin to meditate on the greatness of God’s works, our natural reaction is to praise God.

The Lord’s works are great, studied by all who delight in them.
