Sometimes I say in the course of preaching that one of the most remarkable things about God is that He speaks as if He is God. In other words, He is unlimited in His scope and capacity. He makes promises as if there was no doubt as to their coming to pass. He speaks of the future with the utmost confidence, that is because He is a God of power and there is no power equal to His.
Knowing Him as our loving Father is wonderful, but even better is knowing Him as our loving Father who is also all powerful and able to do every good that He promises. We are sometimes overwhelmed by the circumstances life throws at us, and it is easy to be intimidated by seemingly immovable obstacles and intractable opponents. They can loom larger than life. But when we know our heavenly Father in His limitless power, we think and act differently.
Pray then for a true revelation of God in His power, for understanding of the implication in your life of the power of God. Pray that the fullness of His power will be expressed in, for and through you.

Psalm 62:11-12
God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: strength belongs to God, and faithful love belongs to You, Lord. For You repay each according to his works. Isaiah 40:10-11 10 See, the Lord God comes with strength, and His power establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His gifts accompany Him. He protects His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them in the fold of His garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.

P R A Y E R S to know God in His power
Pray in the name of Jesus,
Thank the Father for His all surpassing power by which He brought everything that is into existence.
Thank the Father for making you a beneficiary of His power in Christ.
Thank Him for this power whereby He can accomplish anything that He desires, that thee is no limitation to His ability and no restriction to His capacity.
Thank the Father for holding you in His arms and taking away every sense of worthlessness and insecurity.
Ask that you be able to grasp the extent of His power.
Pray that every member of your church and your family will have their eyes opened to see the greatness of the power of God.
Ask that God manifest His power in greater measure in your life and through you than ever before.
Pray that the power of God will destroy every resistance to the purpose of God in your life.
Pray that your church will be filled with the demonstration of the power of God.
Pray that through this revelation of His power, all fear be broken off you.
Pray that you will honour Him with your faith and your courage to stand against every obstacle and opposing circumstance.
Pray that the power of God will be released in multiplication of healings, deliverances, answered prayer in your church and everywhere you go
Pray that the evil powers seeking to counter the work of God in your life, your family, and your church be paralysed and neutralised.
Pray that by the power of God, God will be honoured and glorified in your life, your church and your family.
Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and reliability.
Pray in tongues.
