Our partners commit to stand with us through their voluntary monthly giving following the direction of the Holy Spirit. These are persons who recognise the grace that is on Pr Bola Ogedengbe’s life and want to be involved in taking the gospel to the nations through their prayer and their giving. Non-partners may also give on a one off basis as the Spirit of God directs.
A partner is someone who invests spiritually and financially in spreading the Gospel throughout the world. In God’s economy, His children’s investment serves to meet the requirements for preaching the Word of God and for the conversion of souls.
Thus, in the Epistle to the Philippians, Paul expressed his great joy to the Philippians for their partnership with him. Their gifts to him contributed to enabling him to do the work of the ministry and preach the gospel effectively.
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. (Philippians 1:3-5)
Already at the time, not everyone was necessarily aware of this need. According to the Apostle Paul:
Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only. (Philippians 4:15)
It is a privilege to have this revelation. Even today, God invites us to use the financial resources that He has given us to participate in making Christ known in the nations, and to bring men out of darkness! As you partner with Prophetess Bola Ogedengbe and her ministry The Theophilus Company you will be involved in sending the gospel through PASSION FOR GOD TV programme and the many outreaches of the ministry to our generation.
When we become partners, we enter into God’s plan for His work and for our financial life. We are the first to benefit from our own generosity.
Let us listen to Paul once again: “Not that we desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:17-19)
Like the Philippians, we participate in the advancement of the Gospel throughout the whole world, thereby obeying Jesus’ commission to go into all the world and make disciples. God promises that as we take the necessary measures to ensure that there are abundant resources for His work, He will meet all our needs.
