Justement Nass ce n’était pas mauvais, c’était ‘beneficial’ comme j’ai écrit. L’illustration sert à montrer que les choses nous collent, quand elles sont bien, le cas de mon chant, tout va bien, mais les mauvaises nous collent de la même manière, d’où l’importance de choisir nos influences. Donc on peut écouter de la musique, simplement il faut bien choisir celles qui sont ‘beneficial’. Bises.

Je n’ai pas compris en quoi le fait d’avoir un chant dans la tete qui glorifie la parole de Dieu etait mauvais pour toi… si c’est valable de facon générale, alors on ne peut plus écouter de musique? c’est toujours mieux d’avoir dans la tete un chant de louange plutot qu’une musique mondaine, surtout actuelle tu le dis toi meme dans l’article, qu’on se nourrit du monde pour ensuite venir à l’eglise s’attendre à ce que le Pasteur fasse tout!… en tout cas, merci pour cette exhortation.

Am really feeling like I cannot any longer just accept “business as usual” church – I have met God at home, at work, at conferences and schools – but so far never at church, and that is a very sad indictment.
Do you know a church in Geneva where God actually shows up?

A timely word from God is a blessing even if it is a rebuke. A rebuke from God will bring us closer to Him and the truth. I don’t like rebukes from fools though who are deluded and do not know the truth.

please help me pray for my health i started with panic atacks 2years ago and since then i started with all kinds of new feelings of sickenss recently i broke my elbow and i keep searching and praying for a miracle and i am desperate please help me to pray for my healing miracle .my oldest daughter with diabetis type 2single mom very orverweight donset been a nurse she doesent take care of herself and my younguest daughter as well my mom well as you can see we all need a healing miracle .

Too late now then, to thank Pastor Wynne Lewis for the part he played in my conversion. He and Pastor John Dyke officiated over a 4 day event at Yardley Elim Church, possibly in 1952; it was like a light being switched on in my life. Despite many failures on my part, through the grace of God I am still a Believer. I have often wished that I could tell him what a difference that service made to my life, but it seems, reading about the happenings at KT, that he had plenty of encouragement. Although not certain, as he was so young then, I have often wondered if he was, in fact, fresh out of Bible College at that time?

Reading the above article it occurred to me that two of the names don’t have to be made up. Alex can be Ben Kayumba and Mama Jo is Mama Lambert.

I was only a young boy when pastor wynne lewis was made assistant pastor to pastor john dyke, at graham st birmingham. i remember even as a boy what a real great fiery preacher he was, of course he went on to become a real stalwart of the elim church it was a pleasure to have known him

Thanks for articulating the thoughts and feelings that have been weighing heavily on my heart since the Bentley scandal broke. I felt alone, as if I was the only charismatic/pentecostal in the world who was disturbed & disgusted by this sordid affair. And by “affair”, I’m not referring so much to the actual adultery (as that’s all-too-commonplace, unfortunately,) but to the heinous aftermath.

Fundamentalist Christians view gay “marriages” and Muslim 24-hour spiritual “marriages” as exactly what they are – excuses for immorality and adultery. In other words, conservative Christians correctly discern that not everything called a “marriage” is actually a marriage (in God’s eyes) … which begs the question: When an adulteress affair is formalized through the filing of a legal document, what in the universe qualifies such as a [Christian] marriage?
